Openly gay 'Lord of the Rings' star admits to a habit of tearing out the Bible pa**age that condemns homosexuality -- Leviticus 18:22 -- every time he finds one in his hotel room. The pa**age: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

"I'm not proudly defacing the book," he a**erts, "but it's a choice between removing that page and throwing away the whole Bible."

Isn't it the cry of the human heart to live in freedom??  I wish someone would have told Mr. McKellen that Jesus removed, not just that law but every requirment, from all of humanity.  God no longer counts Mr. McKellen's sin against him or anyone anymore!!!!!!

However, if he wants to selectively choose whom the law condemns, he will be no better than legalistic church folk who do the same thing.

That is the gospel of grace and peace!!!

I Cor 6

9: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? (GIZMO) Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

I hope you find peace, joy and love in the depths of legalism in which you abide.  Oh wait, you can't, since peace, joy and love is the fruit of the Spirit, not of the flesh.

The Word of God REALLY is a double-edged sword penetrating the heart(Heb 4:12)

That actor was stabbed right on the heart and criticized by the Word of God!

That's what the Word of God does when we take a good look at its mirror it exposes the person we REALLY are(James 1:23-24)

He could tear out Levictus or any other page where homosexuality is condemned(or sodomity KJV 1611).

Man perishes BUT the Word of God stands forever. Every word from God's mouth won't come back void but it will accomplish what He pleases.

The actor knows deep within his heart homosexuality is a sin and is in BIG trouble with God.
